GREEK

-Erotas/Eros (Έρωτας / Έρως) which represents a specifically romantic love, we can also see here the root of the English word ‘erotic’ if that helps to place it. Two people in a honeymoon phase might find themselves here.

-Agape (Aγάπη) is the most broad version of love in Ancient Greek. This word is used to also speak to love for friends, family, or partner - but in a more spiritual, friendly and non-romantic sense.

-Philia (Φιλία) is also a non-romantic word for love highlighting love for things and/or activities. Seen here is also the suffix ‘phile’ for passions, consider the word ‘cinephile,’ someone who loves films and movies.

-Storgé (Στοργή) is specifically used regarding to parental love for a child.

TAMIL

-Kaikkilai (கைக்கிளை ) is one whole word dedicated to the kind of love that someone experiences when they feel a romantic love that is not reciprocated by the other person 

ARABIC

-‘Ishq (عشق ) speaks to a romantic love that is best represented by the ‘honeymoon phase,’ meaning it is a love that has begun and been established and expected to grow. It is rooted in the Arabic word for ‘vine’ highlighting the idea that it has been “planted in your heart so it can grow into passion
